I'd like to appeal to those of you that are pet owners and love their pets like they were their children. My labrador retriever, Fred, recently tore the ACL in his right hindleg while playing Frisbee (his favorite past time). Repair of the leg requires a $1,500 procedure and I have only $875. Unfortunately his predicament gets worse as time passes - the vet told me he should have the surgery within 90 days in order to have the best chance for a full recovery.
It pains me to see this beatiful, active and loving soul lying about all day. I know he longs to run and jump and to chase his beloved Frisbee.
